HSBC Visit PHBS UK

 

On May 11, 2018, David Morris, the president of global education and training at HSBC, visited the UK campus with a group of five. They explored the issue of cooperation in education and training programs. The meeting was attended by David Morris,  program director of HSBC University, Yogesh Khanna, director of education, Carlo Jose, China operations specialist, Lisa Chen Madle, business specialist, Owen Earwicker, director of the British campus of HSBC School, Prof. Liu Shaojia, Prof. He fan, Dr. John Hoffimire, Prof. Chris Rowley, Dr. Luo Qi, Dr. Daniel Brike, Prof. Carol Alexander, teaching quality director Prof. Hadyn Griffiths, influential and marketing consultant Alison Bloomfield, EDP project Convenor Li Yijing, executive Project operations manager Emma Murray, and academic Administrative assistant Liang.

Professor Liu introduced the location of the campus and focused on each teachers academic background, the curriculum, teaching methods and their effectiveness. 
 
 
The HSBC Group's global education and training President, David Morris, introduced the HSBC Group's education and training management efforts. He said the HSBC Group has more than 230,000 employees, and how to effectively conduct employee education training and performance evaluation which is critical.
The two sides agreed to consider short-term courses for example related to blockchain, Chinese business education training courses, etc. and through the integration of resources more theoretical and financial education and training will be provided to future students to gain a greater competitive advantage.
 
After the meeting, Liu Yanjia, the school district director, briefed the HSBC Group on the campus planning and vision design and conducted a visit around the campus.
